Trevally, Mahi Mahi
The Fishing Adventure
This is just an idea but you could write some stories around the adventures you have so that people can picture themselves doing them. For example, Jeff, Miranda, George and Sam jumped on board at 6am. The breeze was up a bit but gave us an even speedier arrival to the reef. We were there from boarding to reef in half an hour. Since George was a seasoned fisherman he jumped straight into it, however, Sam needed a little more help. We started with yabbies and they brought in the Terglin but were a little too small to keep. We were lucky enough to catch this huge Trevally which was a particular treat for Sam who’d never done any deep sea fishing before.
Way of Life
On our way home we were followed by a pod of dolphins. These are our locals that often join us for the ride home. 3 hours from boarding we were home and ready to cook up the fish. While Jeff cleaned and prepared, the rest of the crew sunk in the view over pre-lunch nibbles before we sampled the fresh caught fish.
Not everyone wants to eat straight away, but rest assured when you take your fish home it’s ready to eat any way you like it. We settled for salt, pepper and a little fresh lime, because when the fish is that fresh you need little else.
